Hi good day, I am currently on a project regarding Strategic Management in Tourism Destination. That being said, i would like to requests for few datas from your office to be succesful in this study.
1. Number of tourist ( Domestic and International) Year 2016-2022
2. Income generated by palawan from tourism: Year 2016-2022
3. Average Length of stay for tourists: Year 2016-2022
4. Average expendeture by tourists: Year 2016-2022
5. current DOT strategic plan.

Your Request
You asked for the following tourism data on Palawan from 2016-2022:
1. Number of domestic and foreign tourists;
2. Tourist Receipts;
3. The average length of stay of tourists;
4. The average expenditure of tourists; and
5. Existing DOT Strategic Plan for Palawan.
Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved.
We have enclosed a copy of the report on the number of tourists from 2017 to 2022; tourist receipts, the average length of stay, and the average expenditure of tourists in Palawan from 2016 to 2021 sourced from the accommodation establishments and the result of the advanced tourism statistics survey conducted by DOT MIMAROPA Regional office in 2018-2019.
Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested as these are the only available data with the DOT MIMAROPA Regional Office. Please be informed that the copy of the strategic plan for Palawan is yet to be released as they are still in the crafting stage together with the other province in MIMAROPA. You may, however, request the Provincial Tourism Office of Palawan if they have a similar document related to the said request through their email address: palawanturismo@yahoo.com.
