I am Andreanne Matarundo, a 4th-year accountancy student at the Aklan State University Banga Campus. I am requesting information regarding:
1. Updated (2021) list of DOT accredited accommodation establishments with their star rating classifications (such as 1-star, 2-star, 3-star, 4-star, and 5-star) in the island of Boracay.
This data will help our research paper as a requirement in our subject called Research Accountancy for the 1st semester of School Year 2021-2022.
To prove that I am currently enrolled, I have emailed a certified true copy of my Certificate of Registration at foi_dm@tourism.gov.ph.
I prefer a pdf copy of the data, and you can send it to matarundoa@gmail.com.

You asked for the List of Accredited Accommodation Establishments with their Star Rating Classifications in Boracay.
Response to Request
Your FOI request was approved. We enclosed a copy of the information you have requested.
Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested since DOT Region VI currently does not have star-rating classifications in Boracay Island.
However, you may coordinate with the Province of Aklan through their website at https://aklan.gov.ph/directory/.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Sec. Bernadette Romulo-Puyat at 351 Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., Makati City. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
