Your Request

You asked for various Tourism Statistics data from 2022 to the present:
1. Total Visitor Arrivals By Country of Residence for 2022-2023;
2. Total Tourist Receipts for 2022;
3. Latest available report on Regional Distribution of Overnight Travelers; and
4. Domestic Tourist Receipts from 2019 - 2022.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved.

2. Domestic Tourism Expenditure by Product, 2019-2022

As for the total Visitor Arrivals By Country of Residence for 2022-2023 and the latest available report on the Regional Distribution of Overnight Travelers, you may find them through this link: http://www.tourism.gov.ph/tourism_dem_sup_pub.aspx

Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested. Upon coordination with the DOT SEAIMD, these are the only available data as of this time. Some of the data may only be available during the 2nd half of this year.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with our response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review by writing a letter or email addressed to Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco of the Department of Tourism and sending it through the email address: foi_ro@tourism.gov.ph. Your review request should be made within 15 working days from the date when you received this reply and must provide the reason/s why you are not satisfied. We will complete the review and notify you of the result within 30 working days from the date when we receive your request for review.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
