I am Gerard Daluz, a 5th year architecture student currently conducting an undergraduate thesis focusing on the sector of tourism in the Philippines. With that, I would to request for the following data:
1. Overall Tourist Arrival in the Philippines related to Business from the last 10 years (2013 - 2023)
2. Overall and Provincial Tourist Arrival in MIMAROPA Region from 2013 - 2023.

The data I am requesting will be used as basis for our Architectural Thesis focusing on the sector of Tourism in the Philippines to which we have proposed A Tourism Complex for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (M.I.C.E.) in MIMAROPA Region.

Your FOI request is approved.
We have enclosed a copy of the MIMAROPA Summary Report for 2023. As for the data from 2013-2022, you may find the report on the Regional Distribution of Travelers through this link: http://www.tourism.gov.ph/tourism_dem_sup_pub.aspx
Please note that we can only provide some of the information you requested. As of this time, the data on the Philippines for 2023 is still being consolidated since the year is not yet over, and the report on the Regional Distribution of Travelers for the same year will not be available until the first quarter of 2024.
Your right to request a review
