Good day,
I would like to seek for your help regarding the performance of hotels in Western Visayas. As such, I would like to request for the following:
- Monthly occupancy rates by province (2015-2022)
- Monthly ADR of hotels by province (2015-2022)
- Monthly average length of stay by province (2015-2022)
- Monthly Tourist receipts by province (2015-2022)
Purpose: To have a proper gauge of the hospitality market in Western Visayas and determine the opportunities in the area as part of the market study for a potential investor in Caticlan.

Your Request
You asked for the following tourism data in Western Visayas from 2015-2022:
1. Monthly occupancy rates by province;
2. Monthly ADR of hotels by province;
3. Monthly average length of stay by province; and
4. Monthly Tourist receipts by province.
Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved.
We have enclosed a copy of the data you requested from 2015 to 2017, to wit:
1. Average occupancy rate of accommodation establishments in Western Visayas by province/HUC; and
2. Average length of stay tourists by province/HUC.
As to the estimated average daily expenditure of tourists in Western Visayas from 2015 to 2017:
a. Php 2,833.00 (Domestic);
b. Php 3,926.00 (Foreign/Overseas Filipinos)
Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested as these are the only available data with DOT Region 6.
