Your Request

You asked for the number of tourists in Bay City, Paranaque for 2023.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved.

Upon coordination with DOT-NCR, they are still in the process of collecting data. As of 31 March 2023, based on submissions by the local government unit, the Bay Area received 109,675 overnight tourists.
Please take caution as this figure is partial and unofficial.

As for the type of tourists in the bay area, they are mostly leisure tourists.

Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested as the DOT-NCR, as previously mentioned, is still in the process of collecting data.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with our response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review by writing a letter or email addressed to Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco of the Department of Tourism and sending it through the email address: foi_ro@tourism.gov.ph.
