Hope you are doing well. We are researchers from the University of Santo Tomas and we believe that your office will greatly assist us into achieving our target respondents and completing our thesis through disseminating our survey instrument.

In line with this, I would like to request for information regarding:

1. List of DTI Registered Micro Enterprises located in Manila, Philippines from 2010 up to present and their respective emails or other contact details.

You asked for List of DTI Registered Micro Enterprises located in Manila, Philippines from 2010 up to present.

Response to Request

Please be informed that only sole proprietorships are registered with DTI, hence not all operating businesses may not be registered with DTI. 

Also, kindly be advised that a Business Name Registration is NOT a license to engage in any kind of business and that the business, regardless of its nature, needs to be registered with the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office where the business is located (business address).

In this context, we suggest that you contact the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) of the City of Manila for proper assistance.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to <Sec. Ramon M. Lopez at secretary@dti.gov.ph>. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
