Hi! 

We, 4th year Bachelor of Science in Business Management students from Ramon V. del Rosario - College of Business, at De La Salle University, are currently conducting a mixed-method study on the digital transformation of SMEs in Bohol as part of our requirement in our undergraduate thesis. 

As part of the data collection process, we are required to gather a list of SMEs around Bohol, Philippines, and conduct an interview for firms that meet our threshold. We, therefore, request a list of SMEs that exists between 2017 to the current year as well as their contact information.

You asked for List of SMEs in Bohol, Philippines.

Response to your request

Please be informed that only sole proprietorships are registered with DTI, hence not all operating businesses may have been registered with DTI. 

Also, kindly be advised that business name registration with the DTI is NOT a permit or a license to engage in any kind of business and that the adoption of the Philippine Standard Industrial Classification (PSIC) in business name registration is solely for the purpose of classifying the primary business activities (product/s handled or service/s rendered) of those business names registered with the DTI. It is not intended to limit the activities of a business.

Similarly, please note that business name registration in DTI does not classify an enterprise as micro, small, medium or large as we do not require the capitalization in the registration.

Any business, however, needs to be registered with the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office where the business is located (business address).  In this context, we suggest that you contact the respective Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) of all cities and municipalities in Bohol for proper assistance.

Your right to request a review
