Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have [some of]* the information you have requested. DTI registers only a Business Name for a sole/single proprietorship business which means we do not know if those registered Business Names are operational or not since we cannot monitor if they proceed to the next process of business registration after they registered their Business Names in DTI. For the list of registered/operational businesses, kindly coordinate with the Local Government Unit (LGU) particularly under Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) per city.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Director Patricia May M. Abejo thru email at KMIS@dti.gov.ph.
