Hi. I am Bea Trisia Joy De Luna, A 4th year Industrial Engineering Student. I am writing this message to humbly request to get a copy of registered establishments, of any sector in Lipa City Batangas. The purpose of this request was for a project feasibility study. You asked for Establishment-Based Statistics.

Response to Request

Kindly be informed that only sole proprietorships are registered with DTI, hence not all operating businesses may not be registered with DTI. 

Also, kindly be advised that a Business Name Registration is NOT a license to engage in any kind of business and that the business, regardless of its nature, needs to be registered with the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office where the business is located (business address).

In this context, we suggest that you contact the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) of Lipa City for proper assistance.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to <Sec. Ramon M. Lopez at secretary@dti.gov.ph>.
