Good day! I would like to request data or list of Small and Medium Enterprises in District 5 and 6 in Quezon City. The information that will be gathered will be used for the research paper that we are working on. We respectfully request an updated information regarding the following:

1. Total Number of SMEs in Quezon City Area, specifically in District 5 and 6
2. Breakdown of the Total Number according to the classifications above (Small and Medium) in every barangay
3. Other related statistics or analyses about SMEs in District 5 and 6 in Quezon City.
4. List of SMEs in Disctrict 5 and 6 QC.

You asked for List of SMEs in District 5 and 6 Quezon City.

Response to Request

Please be informed that only sole proprietorships are registered with DTI, hence not all operating businesses may be registered with DTI. 

Also, kindly be advised that a Business Name Registration is NOT a license to engage in any kind of business and that the business, regardless of its nature, needs to be registered with the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office where the business is located (business address).

In this context, we suggest that you contact the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) of Quezon City for proper assistance.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to <Sec. Ramon M. Lopez at secretary@dti.gov.ph>.
