Good day! I am a graduating student, and my research scope is about MSMEs' digital marketing practices in NCR. I need in conducting my research is a list of registered MSMEs in NCR before the start of the pandemic and during the pandemic. Thank you so much, and hoping to hear from you soon.

You asked for Registered MSMEs in the National Capital Region.

Response to Request

Kindly be informed that only sole proprietorships are registered with DTI, hence not all operating businesses may not be registered with DTI. 

Also, kindly be advised that a Business Name Registration is NOT a license to engage in any kind of business and that the business, regardless of its nature, needs to be registered with the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office where the business is located (business address).

In this context, we suggest that you contact the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) of each city in NCR for proper assistance.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to <Sec. Ramon M. Lopez at secretary@dti.gov.ph>. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
