Good day.

Last June 8, 2020, I made an inquiry via consumercare@dti.gov.ph and fteb@dti.gov.ph regarding the surging prices of bicycles and bicycle parts after the demand became higher due to lack of public transportation caused by the pandemic we are facing.

I received several acknowledgement of receipt of my email but I never got any update regarding my concern.

I wanted to know if this is regulated by the agency and if you can release SRP and if we can report overpriced sellers.

Just to give you an idea about the prices before the pandemic and now.

Before pandemic prices: (from a price list from an online seller)
Foxter Harvard 29er - 13,500.00
Foxter Vinson 29er - 15,200.00

Prices now: (inquiry from a FB Marketplace seller)
Foxter Harvard 29er - 22,500.00
Foxter Vinson 29er - 25,500.00
