Response to Request

Please be informed that only sole proprietorships are registered with DTI, hence not all operating businesses may be registered with DTI.

Also, kindly be advised that a Business Name Registration is NOT a license to engage in any kind of business and that the business, regardless of its nature, needs to be registered with the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office where the business is located (business address).

In this context, we suggest that you contact the respective Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) of the municipalities/cities in Quezon for proper assistance.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to <Sec. Ramon M. Lopez at secretary@dti.gov.ph>.
