Good day!
We are accounting students of De La Salle University-Dasmariñas. We are conducting a study entitled, "Impact of Accounting knowledge and practices on the profitability of MSE's (Micro and Small Enterprise) owned by Millennials and GenZ ." In line with our research, we would like to request data regarding the total number of registered micro and small enterprises of Millennials and GenZ, particularly ages 18-41, and demographic profile of the business owners in the province of Cavite in the year 2021. Dear Ronielle Ian David,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Mar 18, 2022 08:18:32 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for Updated List of MSME in Cavite 2022.

Response to Request

Please be informed that only sole proprietorships are registered with DTI, hence not all operating businesses may not be registered with DTI.

Also, kindly be advised that a Business Name Registration is NOT a license to engage in any kind of business and that the business, regardless of its nature, needs to be registered with the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office where the business is located (business address).

In this context, we suggest that you contact the respective Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) of municipalities and cities in Cavite for proper assistance.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to <Sec. Ramon M. Lopez at secretary@dti.gov.ph>. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
