Hi DTI,

We need the total count of registered industry per year per zone if possible. We are determining the growth of the industry. This is for marketing research.

Hoping you can accommodate our request.

Thanks,

Dear Mr. Monta,

Thank you for your request.

Please note that this is a regular request and does not fall under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016).

Also, kindly be informed that only sole proprietorships are registered with DTI, hence not all operating businesses may not be registered with DTI.

Also, kindly be advised that a Business Name Registration is NOT a license to engage in any kind of business and that the business, regardless of its nature, needs to be registered with the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office where the business is located (business address).

In this context, we suggest that you contact the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office of LGUs in NCR and CALABARZON who may provide the information you have requested.

Thank you.
