I, a student from the University of the East - Manila, together with my research groupmates, am writing to request a copy of the list of Medium enterprises operating in City of Manila and Quezon City as of this month, April 2022. This is to serve the purpose of fulfilling our Research 1 entitled "Corporate Social Responsibility by Medium Enterprises: Role in the achievement of Global Sustainable Development''.

You asked for Request for a copy of list of medium enterprises in City of Manila and Quezon City.

Response to Request

Please be informed that only sole proprietorships are registered with DTI, hence not all operating businesses may not be registered with DTI. 

Also, kindly be advised that a Business Name Registration is NOT a license to engage in any kind of business and that the business, regardless of its nature, needs to be registered with the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office where the business is located (business address).

In this context, we suggest that you contact the respective Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) of the City of Manila and Quezon City for proper assistance.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to <Sec. Ramon M. Lopez at secretary@dti.gov.ph>. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
