Good day!
 
I'd like to ask the DTI for the total number of registered milk tea shops in Batangas Province under all districts which are still operating until this year 2022, if available. If this data could be further identified with a list of each milk tea shop's name per district, that would be great!

You asked for Registered Milktea Shops in Batangas Province.

Response to your request

Please be informed that only sole proprietorships are registered with DTI, hence not all operating businesses may have been registered with DTI. 

Also, kindly be advised that business name registration with the DTI is NOT a permit or a license to engage in any kind of business and that the adoption of the Philippine Standard Industrial Classification (PSIC) in business name registration is solely for the purpose of classifying the primary business activities (product/s handled or service/s rendered) of those business names registered with the DTI. It is not intended to limit the activities of a business.

Any business, however, needs to be registered with the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office where the business is located (business address).  In this context, we suggest that you contact the respective Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) of all cities and municipalities in the province of Batangas for proper assistance.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to <Sec. Alfredo E. Pascual at email secretary@dti.gov.ph>. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
