July 2, 2020 Dear Darwin, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jun 15, 2020 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for List of Businesses in Mindanao Area. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have [some of]* the information you have requested. DTI registers only a Business Name for a sole/single proprietorship business which means we do not know if those registered Business Names are operational or not since we cannot monitor if they proceed to the next process of business registration after they registered their Business Names in DTI. For the list of registered businesses in Mindanao, kindly coordinate with the Local Government Unit (LGU) particularly under Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) per city. For further assistance you may review the FAQ section of the eFOI site: https://pcoomaster11222017130000-dot-efoi-ph.appspot.com/help. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Director Patricia May M. Abejo thru email at KMIS@dti.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
