Good day!
to whom it may concern, 

I am conducting a study developing sustainability reporting guidelines for Philippine Micro, Small, Medium, and Large Enterprises

I would humbly request a copy of the list of enterprises in key cities in NCR registered in LGU under respective Business Permit and Licensing Office per city including their business email address and declared gross receipts for us to be able to filter and contact them in answering the survey questionnaire I have provided related to sustainability report.

D. San Juan City
E. Pasay City
F. Taguig City
G. Mandaluyong City
H. Paranaque City
I. Las Pinas City
J. Muntinlupa City
K. Cavite City

I have chosen DTI instead as this would call all key cities I have requested but preferably should be the LGU per city as they have the information.

In partial fulfillment, since this may take time in coordinating to respective LGUs. Kindly prioritize cities for Manila, Pasig, Makati, Pasay, &, San Juan

You asked for SME Listings of 2022 in Key Cities of NCR.

Response to your request

Please be informed that only sole proprietorships are registered with DTI, hence not all operating businesses may have been registered with DTI. 

Also, kindly be advised that business name registration with the DTI is NOT a permit or a license to engage in any kind of business and that the adoption of the Philippine Standard Industrial Classification (PSIC) in business name registration is solely for the purpose of classifying the primary business activities (product/s handled or service/s rendered) of those business names registered with the DTI. It is not intended to limit the activities of a business.

Similarly, please note that business name registration in DTI does not classify an enterprise as micro, small, medium or large as we do not require the capitalization in the registration.

Any business, however, needs to be registered with the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office where the business is located (business address).  In this context, we suggest that you contact the respective Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) of specific cities in Metro Manila for proper assistance.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to <Sec. Alfredo E. Pascual at email secretary@dti.gov.ph>. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
