Hi.


I would like to know if you have any documents related to running a lending business. 

I would want to know the requirements to start the business, particular rules/laws on lending and if there are any tips / presentation materials / guides created by DTI related to lending, I would like to know how to get one or if available, if I could request for such.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have [some of]* the information you have requested. DTI handles and registers only a business name for a sole proprietorship business. You may visit the link https://www.dti.gov.ph/business/msmes/start-your-business#business-information for some presentation materials / guides on how to start/register a business. However, for the lending business, you may wish to contact Securities and Exchange Commission at 818-0921, or resubmit your request addressed to the correct agency on the eFOI portal at  https://www.foi.gov.ph/requests?agency=SEC. You may also want to check this link http://www.sec.gov.ph/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/Lending-Company-Regulation-Act-of-2007-RA-9474.pdf for more information about the Lending Company Rules and Regulation.

Your right to request a review
