You asked for online application for COVID-19 financial assistance.

Response to Request

   ECC Cash Assistance Digital System (ECCADS) Guidelines:
   
       1. ECCADS will be available from 8AM to 5PM, Mondays to Fridays
       2. Only 100 Applications will be accommodated per day (first come - first served basis)
       3. Be sure to have a copy of your approved EC Claim voucher due to COVID-19 from SSS/GSIS before logging in to ECCADS and applying for EC cash assistance
       4. Ensure correctnes of documents to be uploaded to avoid further delay of your application approval
       5. One application is successfully submitted, do not forget to copy/save the control number to monitor the progress of your application online

    -The Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) aims to provide disability or death benefits due to work-connected sickness or injury; 

    -ECP covers all civilian employees in the government with GSIS coverage including uniformed personnel and all compulsory members of the SSS;

    -SSS serves as implementing agency of ECP in the private sector whereas GSIS implements the ECP in the public sector; the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC) serves as appeal and policy-making body of the ECP; as implementing agency in the private sector, the evaluation of EC claims resides in the SSS; 

    -EC benefits are distinct and separate from SSS and GSIS benefits; 

    -EC cash assistance serves as accessory benefits to EC disability or death benefits due to work-connected covid19;

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III.
