Cash Assistance for Skeletal Employee

Requested from ECC by L. Manuzon at 05:06 PM on Sep 20, 2021.
Purpose: Cash Assistance for skeletal worker no work no income
Date of Coverage: 08/06/2021 - 09/20/2021
Tracking no: #ECC-417784779259

Manuzon 05:06 PM, Sep 20, 2021

Magandang araw po. Ako po ay humihingi ng tulong dahil noong ECQ po ay limitado lamang ang araw ng pasok sa trabaho. At kapag wala po kaming trabaho ay wala din po kaming sweldo. Noong ECQ at MECQ po ako po ay limitado lamang ang pasok sa company (Hyundai Commonwealth) at aking tatay na fishball vendor ay natigil sa pagtitinda. Kami po ng aking Tatay ay nagkasakit ng hyperacidity at ang aking tatay ay nakitaan ng kidney stones at nangangailangan ng 2 buwang gamutan.

Manuzon 05:07 PM, Sep 20, 2021

Ito po ay hindi sa akin. Mali po ang pangalan ng nagrequest. I would like to drop this request. Salamat po

Dear Ludy Manuzon,

Response to Request

    -The Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) aims to provide disability or death benefits due to work-connected sickness or injury;

    -ECP covers all civilian employees in the government with GSIS coverage including uniformed personnel and all compulsory members of the SSS;

    -SSS serves as implementing agency of ECP in the private sector whereas GSIS implements the ECP in the public sector; the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC) serves as appeal and policy-making body of the ECP; as implementing agency in the private sector, the evaluation of EC claims resides in the SSS;

    -EC benefits are distinct and separate from SSS and GSIS benefits;

    -EC cash assistance serves as accessory benefits to EC disability or death benefits due to work-connected covid19;

    If you are an employee who suffered from a work-connected COVID, pls file your EC sickness claim at the SSS branch nearest you(for private sector employees); or at the GSIS (for public sector employees).

    The forms are available at the SSS/GSIS/ECC website.

    EC Claims Requirements:
    1. Certificate of Employment (indicate the last day of duty prior to contracting COVID-19.
    2. RT-PCR or Swab Test Result (Positive)
    3. Medical Certificate or Home Quarantine Clearance
    4. 2 Valid IDs

    Forms (SS Form B300 Sickness Notification and SS Form B309 Accident Report)

    If you already have an approved EC sickness claim at SSS/GSIS, you can then file an EC cash assistance claim at the ECC.

    The EC CA application form is available in our FB page and the requirements are as follows:
    1. Proof of Approved EC Claim Voucher from SSS/GSIS
    2. RT-PCR or Swab Test Result showing POSITIVE for CoVid-19, issued by a DOH accredited testing center / Medical Certificate / Home Quarantine Clearance issued by LGU Health Office/BHERT
