Hi just want to ask i you could help me and my daughter. I was diagnosed with covid 19 positive last october 5, 2022 and i am im currently unemployed for 1 month and still counting. Nobody helped us during my whole family quarantine not even where me currently employed. Im only one month in bpo then i got covid. When i filed from sss and gave the completed requirement papers to the hr. They just told me that im not eligible to get sss sickness and ec benifit coz of my contribution. I was shocked coz no one helped us during that time and still no body helped us even the government. Need help

    -The Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) aims to provide disability or death benefits due to work-connected sickness or injury; 

    -ECP covers all civilian employees in the government with GSIS coverage including uniformed personnel and all compulsory members of the SSS;

    -SSS serves as implementing agency of ECP in the private sector whereas GSIS implements the ECP in the public sector; the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC) serves as appeal and policy-making body of the ECP; as implementing agency in the private sector, the evaluation of EC claims resides in the SSS; 

    -EC benefits are distinct and separate from SSS and GSIS benefits; 

    -EC cash assistance serves as accessory benefits to EC disability or death benefits due to work-connected covid19;
