Hi ! I want to follow up on my application for EC covid cash assistance. a year with almost no results yet I already called the attention of our agency LSERV CORP and they said it was the SSS that changed the process of submission. we are expecting this cash to be a "HELP" for our family but it seems to be an additional stress for us to keep on following . May we request your generous assistance to this appeal  thank you

    -The Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) aims to provide disability or death benefits due to work-connected sickness or injury; 

    -ECP covers all civilian employees in the government with GSIS coverage including uniformed personnel and all compulsory members of the SSS;

    -SSS serves as implementing agency of ECP in the private sector whereas GSIS implements the ECP in the public sector; the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC) serves as appeal and policy-making body of the ECP; as implementing agency in the private sector, the evaluation of EC claims resides in the SSS; 

    -EC benefits are distinct and separate from SSS and GSIS benefits; 

    -EC cash assistance serves as accessory benefits to EC disability or death benefits due to work-connected covid19;
