Hi!

I am a work from home employee who contracted Covid last July 23, 2021. With regards to this, I would like to ask if I am still eligible to file for a covid financial assistance even if I am working from home?

Also, does the filing of financial assistance has a limited period, like how many days or months after contracting covid?

Your Request

You asked for ECC Covid Claim.

Response to Request

We hope you are doing good these days.

We would like to inform you that the Employees’ Compensation Commission enumerated the conditions for the compensability of COVID-19 under BR-21-04-14.

Unfortunately,  those employees who  contracted COVID-19  while working from home (WFH) is not included there.

For your prescriptive period concerns,  we are glad to inforn you that we have a precriptive period of 3 yrs under the EC Program.

Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
