Hi Mam/Sir, We are requesting your good office to have financial assistance for the hospital bill of my father, Anselmo B. UMALI, Our Papa is a retired tricycle driver who cant drive anymore due to diabetes and eye sight problem. Unfortunately,last week,the whole family including myself got infected to Covid and we rushed Papa to the hospital due to difficulty of breathing. As of now,our running bill is already at Php450k and we dont know how to pay for it. All public hospital are in full capacity already and cannot admit Papa during those times.Pls help us. You asked for Financial Assistance for Covid-19 patient.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

We are sorry to hear your Papa’s condition right now.   

The EC Program is designed to provide benefits to workers who suffered from work-connected sickness, injury or death.

In your case,  your Papa is already retired. Hence,  he is not covered under the EC Program.

Hence,  we apologize that we cannot extend financial assistance to you.

We hope you understand our situation.
