Good day.. I would like to request assisstance on filling my EC claim/benefit cause i've contracted covid last january..
I already received my sickness benefit from SSS, but upon learning that for me to apply for EC benefit I need to have my voucher from SSS. I enrolled a disbursement account because SSS said that it is required, in short my sickness benefit was credited to my bank account and i did not receive any voucher.
Can i ask for help on what step will i do cause i will definitely not comply with the voucher requirement on EC claim.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Sep 19, 2021 08:33:15 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for SSS sickness voucher.

Response to Request

    We hope you are doing well today.

    May we know what claims did you file at the SSS?  

    Please be informed that you can file two claims at the SSS.  One is SSS sickness benefit and the other one is EC sickness/TTD benefit.

    Are we correct to assume that you were granted by the System an SSS sickness benefit?  If yes,  pls file an EC sickness/TTD claim at the SSS nearest you.  Once your claim was approved you can receive an EC approved claim/voucher from the SSS.

    With the proof of EC approved claim,  you can now file an EC cash assistance claim
    at the ECC.

    Pls. check the ECC FB page and ECC website for other information on the EC Program and the benefit we provide for work-connected CoVid.
