Hi! I have filed for financial help and submitted last October 25, 2021. Up to now, there is no update. Until this day I am suffering from the long term effect of COVID. A spinal disc was developed in my body and I am undergoing therapies every week. I was advised by my physician to have spinal surgery, but I need financial help. I am taking a lot of different medicines. Please help me get the financial aid, I badly need it. Thankyou and God bless

    -The Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) aims to provide disability or death benefits due to work-connected sickness or injury; 

    -ECP covers all civilian employees in the government with GSIS coverage including uniformed personnel and all compulsory members of the SSS;

    -SSS serves as implementing agency of ECP in the private sector whereas GSIS implements the ECP in the public sector; the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC) serves as appeal and policy-making body of the ECP; as implementing agency in the private sector, the evaluation of EC claims resides in the SSS; 

    -EC benefits are distinct and separate from SSS and GSIS benefits; 

    -EC cash assistance serves as accessory benefits to EC disability or death benefits due to work-connected covid19;
