Hi! I would like to request for financial assistance for a private sector worker who tested positive for COVID-19, his results came back positive at the month of July and we still hope we can request for financial support for the worker as we are not fully aware at the time that the Employees Compensation Commission are providing assistance for COVID-19 positive workers. It would greatly help the employee if he would receive since he was not able to be compensate fully from the time of absence in his company.

Your Request

You asked for Financial Assistance For Covid 19 patient.

Response to Request

    If you are an employee who suffered from a work-connected COVID,  pls file your EC sickness claim at the SSS branch nearest you(for private sector employees);  or at the GSIS (for public sector employees).

    The forms are available at the SSS/GSIS/ECC website.

    EC Claims Requirements:
    1. Certificate of Employment (indicate the last day of duty prior to contracting COVID-19.
    2. RT-PCR or Swab Test Result (Positive)
    3. Medical Certificate or Home Quarantine Clearance
    4. 2 Valid IDs

    Forms (SS Form B300 Sickness Notification and SS Form B309 Accident Report)

    If you already have an approved EC sickness claim at SSS/GSIS,  you can then file an EC cash assistance claim at the ECC.

    The EC CA application form is available in our FB page and the requirements are as follows:
    1. Proof of Approved EC Claim Voucher from SSS/GSIS
    2. RT-PCR or Swab Test Result showing POSITIVE for CoVid-19, issued by a DOH accredited testing center / Medical Certificate / Home Quarantine Clearance issued by LGU Health Office/BHERT
    3. 2 Valid IDs

Your right to request a review
