Good day, i (Orlando P. Tangalin) just want to have an inquiry on my E.C. claim & sickness benefit claim because i was diagnosed of having COVID-19 last August and recovered by September. My Employer (E-source Multipurpose Cooperative) had already passed the necessary documents for my claim. I want to know  if it's approved or not?

    -The Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) aims to provide disability or death benefits due to work-connected sickness or injury; 

    -ECP covers all civilian employees in the government with GSIS coverage including uniformed personnel and all compulsory members of the SSS;

    -SSS serves as implementing agency of ECP in the private sector whereas GSIS implements the ECP in the public sector; the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC) serves as appeal and policy-making body of the ECP; as implementing agency in the private sector, the evaluation of EC claims resides in the SSS; 

    -EC benefits are distinct and separate from SSS and GSIS benefits; 

    -EC cash assistance serves as accessory benefits to EC disability or death benefits due to work-connected covid19;
