MAY I CONFIRM IF THE AMOUNT WILL BE GETTING BY A COVID-19 SURVIVOR IS 30K? BASE ON THIS:

Bello said an employee affected by Covid-19 will be receiving PHP30,000.

“It will become a compensable illness. The usual compensation on work-related illness is PHP10,000 but if it’s Covid-19, PHP30,000 under this ECC resolution,” he said. “There is no distinction (mild or severe), if it’s Covid, the compensation will be PHP30,000. If the patient needs operation or additional hospitalization, PhilHealth is there.”

You asked for CASH ASSISTANCE.

Response to Request

    We hope you are doing well today. 

    Please be informed that currently,  the Employees’ Compensation Commission provides Cash Assistance of P10,000 for employees who suffered from COVID-19 due to their work or working environment. 

    The ECC has an approved EC Board Resolution for a 30k Cash Assistance but it still needs the approval from the Office of the President.

    Meantime,  CoVid survivors who acquired the illness due to their work or working conditions are advised to file their EC sickness claim at the  SSS/GSIS branch nearest them.
