Our family, a family of five, tested positive for COVID last May and until now, we are trying to cope and manage all the expenses we had with medicine and home treatment as well as our current expenses. My dad, who is a freelancer, lost several projects in a span of 2 weeks that cost us a lot. We are hoping to get financial aid to help us. Whatever amount we will get will help in compensating for the said expenses. Thank you very much!

Your Request

You asked for Financial Aid for COVID-19 patient.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

If you are an employee who suffered from a work-connected COVID,  pls file your EC sickness claim at the SSS branch nearest you(for private sector employees);  or at the GSIS (for public sector employees).

The forms are available at the SSS/GSIS/ECC website.

EC Claims Requirements:
1. Certificate of Employment (indicate the last day of duty prior to contracting COVID-19.
2. RT-PCR or Swab Test Result (Positive)
3. Medical Certificate or Home Quarantine Clearance
4. 2 Valid IDs

Forms (SS Form B300 Sickness Notification and SS Form B309 Accident Report)

If you already have an approved EC sickness claim at SSS/GSIS,  you can then file an EC cash assistance claim at the ECC.

The EC CA application form is available in our FB page and the requirements are as follows:
1. Proof of Approved EC Claim Voucher from SSS/GSIS
2. RT-PCR or Swab Test Result showing POSITIVE for CoVid-19, issued by a DOH accredited testing center / Medical Certificate / Home Quarantine Clearance issued by LGU Health Office/BHERT
3. 2 Valid IDs

Your right to request a review
