Good day. I am a nurse at Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center which is situated at Marikina city and I was assigned to the COVID WARD. On August 17, 2022, I tested positive (RT-PCR (+)) from the virus. The symptoms that I have got are fever, body malaise and sore throat. Can I please get a request to get an ECC Covid assistance? I am hoping that you will accept my request.

    -The Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) aims to provide disability or death benefits due to work-connected sickness or injury; 

    -ECP covers all civilian employees in the government with GSIS coverage including uniformed personnel and all compulsory members of the SSS;

    -SSS serves as implementing agency of ECP in the private sector whereas GSIS implements the ECP in the public sector; the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC) serves as appeal and policy-making body of the ECP; as implementing agency in the private sector, the evaluation of EC claims resides in the SSS; 

    -EC benefits are distinct and separate from SSS and GSIS benefits; 

    -EC cash assistance serves as accessory benefits to EC disability or death benefits due to work-connected covid19;
