Hi, nag-test positive ako sa COVID-19 noong September 6, 2021. Hindi ko alam kung kailan o kung makakapag-file pa ba ako ng Cash Assistance sa ECC kasi mukhang walang update kung makakapag-file pa ba ako. Ni hindi ko alam kung hanggang kailan ako pupwedeng makapag-file nf cash assistance. Sana masagot ako ng ECC. Salamat!

    -The Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) aims to provide disability or death benefits due to work-connected sickness or injury; 

    -ECP covers all civilian employees in the government with GSIS coverage including uniformed personnel and all compulsory members of the SSS;

    -SSS serves as implementing agency of ECP in the private sector whereas GSIS implements the ECP in the public sector; the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC) serves as appeal and policy-making body of the ECP; as implementing agency in the private sector, the evaluation of EC claims resides in the SSS; 

    -EC benefits are distinct and separate from SSS and GSIS benefits; 

    -EC cash assistance serves as accessory benefits to EC disability or death benefits due to work-connected covid19;

Hi,

I think someone misunderstood my concern. The response I received DID NOT answer my question. What I’m asking was when I can file my COVID-19 Cash Assistance from ECC? I tested positive last September 2021 and I think we only have 3 years from the date we tested positive to file for Cash Assistance. I would like to know if we can still file for Cash Assistance or no. Time is running and what if after 3 years, the filing is still closed, can we still file for Cash Assistance?
