Good day. Kindly help me to get an update regarding my ECC COVID financial assistance which I submitted last October 25, 2021. I and my family badly need financial help for I got positive with COVID for the second time, and my health/body immunity went really bad, I am not able to walk more than 5-7 meters because of shortage of oxygen. And the worse, I infected my child. Only you and your good office can help us get our financial assistance as soon as possible. We are still under medication. I am hoping for your positive response.     -The Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) aims to provide disability or death benefits due to work-connected sickness or injury; 

    -ECP covers all civilian employees in the government with GSIS coverage including uniformed personnel and all compulsory members of the SSS;

    -SSS serves as implementing agency of ECP in the private sector whereas GSIS implements the ECP in the public sector; the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC) serves as appeal and policy-making body of the ECP; as implementing agency in the private sector, the evaluation of EC claims resides in the SSS; 

    -EC benefits are distinct and separate from SSS and GSIS benefits; 

    -EC cash assistance serves as accessory benefits to EC disability or death benefits due to work-connected covid19;
