I would like to request assistance for claiming Compensation for COVID-19 positive healthcare worker. I am the only one who supports our family of five aside from my mother who is a school teacher. I am a Medical Technologist II under DOH-MMCHD deployed at Philippine Red Cross Mandaluyong, and I have yet to receive salary, hence, I have decided to request for your assistance.

    -The Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) aims to provide disability or death benefits due to work-connected sickness or injury; 

    -ECP covers all civilian employees in the government with GSIS coverage including uniformed personnel and all compulsory members of the SSS;

    -SSS serves as implementing agency of ECP in the private sector whereas GSIS implements the ECP in the public sector; the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC) serves as appeal and policy-making body of the ECP; as implementing agency in the private sector, the evaluation of EC claims resides in the SSS; 

    -EC benefits are distinct and separate from SSS and GSIS benefits; 

    -EC cash assistance serves as accessory benefits to EC disability or death benefits due to work-connected covid19;
