Hi,

I have filed a claim through my company when i had one incident of dizziness & chest pain May 4, 2023 while taking a nap on one of our reclining chair in the office, its a call center in BGC. I was brought to St Lukes by my collegue. On my MRI it shows Cervical Radiculopathy. I submitted all docs but when i check sss online status declined SUBMIT CERTIFIED TRUE COPY OF EC LOGBOOK INDICATING DATE OF LOGBOOK ENTRY.; SUBMIT DULY ACCOMPLISHED ACCIDENT/SICKNESS REPORT (FORM B-309); SUBMIT CERTIFICATE FROM EMPLOYER STATING HOW THE ILLNESS WAS CONSIDERED AS WORK-CONNECTED.

    -The Employees' Compensation Program (ECP) aims to provide disability or death benefits due to work-connected sickness or injury; 

    -ECP covers all civilian employees in the government with GSIS coverage including uniformed personnel and all compulsory members of the SSS;

    -SSS serves as implementing agency of ECP in the private sector whereas GSIS implements the ECP in the public sector; the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC) serves as appeal and policy-making body of the ECP; as implementing agency in the private sector, the evaluation of EC claims resides in the SSS; 

    -EC benefits are distinct and separate from SSS and GSIS benefits; 

    -EC cash assistance serves as accessory benefits to EC disability or death benefits due to work-connected covid19;
