The board would like to be clarified on the computation of power cost being observed by distribution utilities like DASURECO. At the beginning of the year, power rate is at P11.57 per kWh and had reached to P13.45 in July 2022. Further, the board would also like to be clarified on the imposition of other charges such as Transmission, Distribution and Generation Charges. The power cost has occupied a large chunk of the water district’s expenses, further causing additional burden to the agency, which have yet to recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
