Hello! I would like to request information or data regarding
1) Pesticide Use in Benguet within 2016 - 2018
The desired data may contain rate of pesticide use in Benguet, usage of restricted or regulated pesticides.
2) Fertilizer Use in Benguet within 2016 - 2018
The desired data may contain rate of fertilizer use in Benguet, usage of organic and inorganic fertilizers in crop production.
3) Pesticide Residue of Soils used in Crops Production (e.g Lettuce/Cabbage/Carrots etc) in Benguet within 2016 - 2018
4) State of Food Security in CAR within 2016 - 2018

The purpose of the desired information shall be used for an academic paper entitled: "Assessing Food Security in Benguet concerning Pesticide & Fertilizer Use, and Organic Farming". The academic paper is a requirement for our Midyear/Summer term in a course dwelling on Physical Sciences (Science 10 - Probing the Physical World) here in UP Baguio.

This refers to your request for information on data regarding the following:
1.	 Pesticide and Fertilizer Use in Benguet within 2016-1018.
We regret to inform you that we do not have data on pesticide and fertilizer usage in Benguet.
Since we are a regulatory government agency, we can help you by providing List of Registered Pesticide and Pesticide Importation Data which is readily available at FPA’s website ( http://fpa.da.gov.ph/ ).

2.	Pesticide Residue of Soils used in Crops Production in Benguet.  

For this concern, you may inquire with the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) or the Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM) in CAR.
