Hi!

I want to request information about Galing Pook on its awarding policies from 2015-2019 and the local governments-awardees during those years.

May I also ask for a short introduction of other awards and conferring bodies that cater to local governments and officials, including the active and defunct ones?

You asked for Information on Local Government Awards such as Galing Pook.

Response to your request

We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online and therefore cannot be counted as a valid FOI request. You may retrieve your requested information from galingpook.org or you can also refer to the website of the DILG for info about the Seal of Good Local Governance. We don't have the comprehensive list of all awards for LGUs but the DILG might have it on their website.

For the LGA, we have an awards system for the DILG Personnel only. We don't have one yet for the LGUs.
