Good day, Ma'am/Sir!

I would like to clarify or ask the legal opinion of the Department of the Interior and Local Government whether or not those who are assigned volunteer members of Barangay Peace Action Team are considered as Agents of Person in Authority for the purposes of applying Chapter 4, Title 3 of the Revised Penal Code and for applying the Constitutional and Statutory Rights of those who are arrested by virtue of warrantless arrest under Rule 113, Sec. 5 of the Rules of Court.
