Good day LRA,

I would like to ask if I can retrieve to this office, any pertinent document (e.g., deed of donation, agreement, etc.) between Panay Railways Inc. and my Grandparents? If not, I would like to seek proper advice on what specific office I should check upin.

Thank you very much & more power. Stay safe.

Dear Anacleto Jr. Cortez,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Aug 31, 2020 07:09:08 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for Deed of Donation / Utilization Agreement.

Response to Request

Please proceed to the Registry of Deeds where you think the documents were used by your parents and/or grandparents and request for a certified true copy of these documents.

Another option, if you have a photocopy of these documents you mentioned in your query, please proceed to the National Archives and request for a certified true copy of these documents. All you need to do is to present these documents as basis of your request.

Another option would be to proceed to the Assessor's Office of the Municipality where these documents were used. But see to it that these documents subject of your request are annotated against the Tax Declaration of the property by the Assessor's Office.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).

Thank you.

Respectfully,

LRA CENTRAL - MAIN
FOI Receiving Officer
