Purpose: Judicial confirmation of imperfect title, payment of estate tax, quieting of title

Good evening! I would like to request for a copy of the notarized deed of donation executed by my great great grandfather, Buenaventura Closa in favor of the them Municipal Mayor of our town, General Luna, Quezon. The land covered by such deed of donation is located in Barangay Malaya, General Luna, Quezon wherein a public elementary school is presently erected.

According to my mother, who is one of the granddaughter of the donor, the donation could have taken place during the period of 1983 to 1986. They used to have a copy of that donation, however it was lost.

Dear Cynthia Ramos,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Feb 15, 2020 07:57:32 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for Deed of Donation.

Response to Request

It would be difficult to give you want you want considering that your request lacks some other details. Was the property donated a titled property? If it wasn't, then you may proceed to the Assessor's Office of the Municipality/City where the property is located and request for a certified true copy of a Tax Declaration (TD) under the name of your great grandfather or your grandmother. The deed of donation may have probably been annotated against the TD.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).

Thank you.

Respectfully,
LRA CENTRAL - MAIN
FOI Receiving Officer
