Hi. I just want to know if there's any record of land title under the name of Alejandro Matampac.. He is my great grand father. He already dead. He's son which is my lolo is also dead. And my father is the only one who is alive. My lolo told me before he died that there's a land under the name of his father(alejandro) were will be given to my father.. But the title is missing, and we can't find it.. But the brgy map shows the name of my lolo in the specific land in our barangay... So that we want to know if there's any land existing in the name of my great grand father named Alejandro Matampac

The LRA does not do the search by names, but by title numbers. However, you may go to the Assessor's Office where the property is located and request for a certified true copy of Tax Declaration under the name/s of the tax payer/s. On the face of the Tax Declaration is the title number. Then, you may now go to the Registry of Deeds where the property is located and request for a certified true copy of the title.
