Good day!

I would like to ask if an advise regarding the recent issue on our barangay. We received a demand letter indicating the urgency to pay the Real Property Tax and Lot.

Based on my research, we are required to pay the tax but my concern is that how can we know that the one asking for payment for the lot is the authorize and registered to your office. Can I have someone to answer this immediately, because we don't want to sign any paper without any guidance by the government.

Response to Request

Paying real property tax can be done by visiting the City Treasurer’s Office or through your municipality’s partner merchants. The treasurer's office of the municipality collects the payment. For more information, kindly coordinate with the Local Government Unit (LGU).

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by sending an e-mail to our Public Relations and Information Section at pris@lra.gov.ph.

Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
