Your Request

You asked for Carnapping (Motorcycle) incidents and Motorcycle accident fatalities

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. I enclosed a copy of most of the information you requested

As for your first request regarding the carnapping (motorcycle) incidents from 2017-2019, I enclosed a copy of the available data placed under ALARM to the LTO-IT System forwarded by the Highway Patrol Group from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2019.

And as for your second request regarding the number of fatalities of motorcycle accidents from 2017-2019, while our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. However, you may wish to contact the Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group or look into the website https://roadsafety.gov.ph/#!/. You may resubmit your request addressed to the correct agency on the eFOI portal.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to LTO Assistant Secretary Edgar C. Galvante at lto.cdmpao@gmail.com.
