I would like to request the following information for the cities of Cebu for the year 2010-2018.

1. Number of vehicles in Cebu and classifications of such vehicles.

2. Number of reported vehicular accidents in Cebu and list of causes.

3. Are there any reported incidents of vehicular accidents due to traffic congestion? If yes, how many were reported?

Your Request

You asked for LTO Vehicle and Accident Data for 2010-2018 for Cebu City.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. I enclosed a copy of some of the information you requested.

Please note that we are only able to provide the Statistics on Registered Motor Vehicles in LTO Cebu District Office for CY 2010-2018.

As for your other request, while our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. However, you may wish to look into the “Data for Road Incident Visualization Evaluation and Reporting” (DRIVER) database at roadsafety.gov.ph.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to LTO Assistant Secretary Edgar C.
