The scooter in question is a Suzuki Choi Nori, a japanese scooter that was in production until 2007 and is only available as a displacement of 39cc and 49cc.

Do scooters like this need to be registered?

Response to your request

We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online and therefore cannot be counted as a valid FOI request. Any vehicle that is motorized and used on our main roads must be registered. If it passes the smoke emission testing and motor vehicle inspection, it can be registered and used on our roads freely and legally.
