Hello LTO,

I'd like to know if it is legally allowed to convert diesel/gas vehicles to electric in the Philippines.

I understand that there are safety precautions that we must take, and I'm just not as sure as to whom from LTO will be performing said safety inspections and evaluations.

If it is legally allowed, what are the steps I should take should I consider renewing the registration of said modified vehicle?

Thanks,
Kevin
